The Royal Orient Train is largely inspired by the royal ride of the Palace on Wheels. Travel experience at The Royal Orient brings you to the grandeur and royal experience as well as to the Indian culture and its magnificent heritage.
The commercial operation of this train was started in 1994, in which the Tourism Corporation of the Government of Gujarat has been partnered with the Indian Railways.
Initially, the trend of people was less towards this train, in the first year 25% of passengers and the next year 15% of passengers were increased. However, with the major changes after 2007, passengers showed a keen interest in this train.
The Royal Orient Express train consists of 13 coaches in total. An attempt has been made to connect the memories of the world-famous Rajputana heritage with this train.
During the journey, you can enjoy complete comfort and luxury carriage. The interesting thing is that the cabin is decorated in a palatial way. Along with this, special baths have also been arranged in the train.
In the multi-cuisine restaurant, you can enjoy Rajasthani, Gujarati, and other Indian dishes as well as Chinese and Continental flavors. The journey to Royal Orient begins at Delhi Cantonment Station.
